Capela de Nossa Senhora das Lezírias

São Lourenço do Bairro, Anadia

Presentation
The Capela de Nossa Senhora das Lezírias, located in Lezírias parish of São Lourenço do Bairro, was built in the mid-seventeenth century.
It is thought that this chapel has replaced a small chapel that there existed, a fact evidenced by the sculpture of the Virgin, dating from the fifteenth century, which remains in place.
Inside is also the tomb of its founder, Padre Antonio Alvares.
