Moita, Anadia

Presentation
The Convent of Santa Úrsula was built in the beginning of the 18th century, and in it the Chapel to Nª Srª da Piedade and some ruins of the Convent still remain. Its construction was commissioned by some devoted patrons; ladies who were advised by their confessors (Jesuits). In 1834, with the extinction of the religious orders, these were sent to the Convent of Santa Ana in Coimbra. The images of the chapel also date back to the beginning of the 18th century.
