Water supply source for the municipality of Cantanhede and other nearby municipalities, the Olhos da Fervença springs, in the parish of Cadima, have attracted a significant number of visitors each year, not only because of their unusual and unique characteristics, but also because they are integrated in a natural area of choice.

To take advantage of the touristic potential of the place, a river beach was built in the scope of a deep intervention that includes the correct use of its surrounding space as a leisure area, namely with the creation of a small sandy beach and a lawn area for sunbathing and resting, pedestrian circuits, bar and esplanade, changing rooms, picnic park and playing field.
