This is a linear route that crosses the Quinta do Ega Municipal Park and takes you along the banks of the Boco River, crossing the river via the Fareja footbridge.

On the other side of the river, the route follows the Grande Rota da Ria de Aveiro (Great Route of the Ria de Aveiro) along rural paths, always with views over the Boco River. Although it is a linear route, there and back, it also connects to the PR4 “Trilho Levadas das Azenhas” trail, allowing you to explore a little more of this valley and discover the interesting heritage of ancient water channels and watermills in the village of Boco. Throughout the route, you can relax and observe some of the bird and plant species unique to this area.
